The Storm Junior Dutch Open is back for its 4th edition, and this year it's going bigger than ever.
Taking place from August 30 to September 6, 2026, at Bison Bowling in Haarlem, Netherlands, this tournament brings together young bowlers from across Europe for a full week of competition, growth, and good times both on and off the lanes.
This event is all about leveling up – not just as bowlers, but as people. You’ll test your skills, meet other players, and be part of a community that’s passionate about the game. Whether you're here to win or just to experience an international tournament, you'll leave with something more than just a score. Plus, this year’s edition will be non-urethane, promising even tougher and more exciting competition!
Registration opens on November 30, 2025!
Age categories (as of July 1, 2026):
Category 1 Boys: Born after 30-06-2012
Category 2 Girls: Born after 30-06-2012
Category 3 Boys: Born after 30-06-2008
Category 4 Girls: Born after 30-06-2008
Category 5 Boys: Born after 30-06-2000
Category 6 Girls: Born after 30-06-2000
Tournament format:
This year's edition is
Qualification Rounds: 6 games for all age categories. Two re-entries allowed per player. Top 6 per category qualify for the semi-finals. Scores carry over.
Semi-Finals: 4 games. Top 4 per category qualify for the finals. Scores carry over.
Finals: 3 games. Winners from each category advance to the Masters.
Masters: One game. Category winners play separately (boys and girls), and the highest score wins. All scores reset for the Masters.
