About the Tournament

The MWA–Thailand International Open returns for its landmark 50th edition from April 5 to 20, once again bringing world-class bowling to Bangkok. The event is hosted at Blu-O Rhythm & Bowl, right in the heart of the city.

The tournament offers a wide range of divisions, including the headline Men’s and Women’s Open Masters. Grade A divisions and a combined Youth Under 21 category complete a strong and balanced lineup. In the Open Masters, players begin with 15 qualifying games spread across three blocks. Top qualifiers, selected seeds, and Desperado winners move into multiple six-game final rounds. The final six battle it out in a stepladder, with the top seed holding re-challenge rights in the title match. Grade A Masters provide tough competition for rising players, with finalists decided over eight games. The Youth Under 21 division, open to both boys and girls, crowns its champions after an eight-game final round.

With a total prize fund of €70,000 and a €9,150 top prize, the event remains one of Asia’s premier tournaments.

High-level bowling meets Bangkok’s energy, hospitality, and unforgettable atmosphere for a truly special tournament experience.
