The European Grand Senior Championships 2026 will take place in Vienna, Austria, from January 30 to February 8, bringing together Europe’s most experienced and passionate bowlers for an unforgettable celebration of skill, endurance, and sportsmanship.
Organized by the European Bowling Federation (EBF), this first-ever edition of the Grand Senior Championships welcomes athletes aged 65 and above to compete at the highest level of senior European bowling. The event will feature 182 participants, including 94 men, 55 women, and 17 team officials, representing 24 federations across Europe.
Participating countries include Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Lithuania, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Scotland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, and Wales.
The competition will be held at Plus Bowling Vienna, a premier venue that has hosted numerous prestigious international tournaments — including the European Senior Championships, Women’s and Men’s Championships, Youth Championships, and the Champions Cup.
The lane pattern for EGSC 2026 will be 41 feet (+/- 1 foot). The final version to be revealed during the Team Managers Meeting.
