The Hammer Memorial Víctor Remigio Tournament returns to El Vendrell, Spain, for its second edition this September. Hosted at Bowling El Vendrell, the event offers a total prize fund of €7,000, with €1,000 going to the champion. It brings together competitive players of all levels in a multi-phase format that rewards both skill and consistency.
The tournament begins with a 5-game qualification series, with lane changes after each game. There is no limit on re-entries, and players will be classified into the final stages through a tiered system. The top 20 from the general standings will advance directly, with additional spots awarded to top performers from early squads, the best senior and youth players (based on handicap), and the best unqualified male and female scratch scorers.
From there, players progress to a multi-round finals structure. In Final Step 1, 20 qualifiers will bowl 4 games from scratch, with the top 6 advancing. They will then join the 6 top-ranked qualifiers in Final tep 2, bowling another 4 games starting from zero. The best 4 move on to the Semifinals, where they face off in one-game matches (1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3). The two winners then meet in a one-game Grand Final to decide the 2025 champion.
Set on the Catalan coast, El Vendrell offers a sunny, welcoming backdrop for this tribute event — blending competitive bowling with a strong community spirit in memory of Víctor Remigio.
