About the Tournament

The U.S. Open presented by Go Bowling heads to Royal Pin Woodland, bringing one of bowling’s toughest challenges to Indianapolis.

With a massive €279,000 prize fund, this event pushes players both physically and mentally.

Often called the hardest tournament in bowling, the U.S. Open is a true test of endurance.

Players battle through a demanding 48-game format on challenging lane conditions, all chasing the iconic green jacket.

The tournament begins with 24 qualifying games spread over three days. From there, the top 24 advance to round-robin match play, where bonus pins and total scores decide who survives. After all 48 games are complete, only the best earn a spot in the stepladder finals.

For fans, it’s must-watch bowling. For players, it’s one of the biggest stages in the sport.
